New Tour! Fat Tire Bikes Beach Tour
Where is this tour:
Florida’s ONLY Fat Tire Bike Tour is on the Canaveral National Seashore near Kennedy Space Center. Join us for a day of adventure as we take you to this unspoiled beach and wildlife area to see some of Florida’s famous Space Coast landmarks.
What’s on the Fun Agenda:
We start this tour by letting you pack your own lunch! Guest arrive to our office and get to choose from a variety of picnic food that they will take with them for a beach picnic. Then we head out to the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge. This is one of America’s largest wildlife sanctuaries. It boasts rare birds, spectacular views of Kennedy Space Center and the Space-X launch pads.
What You Will See:
You and your guides will jump on your Fat Tire Bikes and head down the wildlife trails to see Florida Alligators, Blue Herons, Roseate Spoon Bills, and other animals who call this nature reserve their home.
See Space-X Launch Pads from a Rare View – Photo Op!
Along the way, take time to look out across the expanse of the Space Center and snap some Insta-worthy photos of the Space-X launch pads, NASA’s Vehicle Assembly Building (so large it has it’s own atmosphere), and the unspoiled Florida nature. This bit of coastlines is one of the only places you can see Florida the same way it has looked for hundreds of years. This land was originally home to a Native American tribe called the Ais.
Beach Picnic with Time for Swimming
After a fun filled ride on your Fat Tire Bicycle, you will end up at the beach! This is the time to unpack your picnic lunch and enjoy the beauty of the Atlantic ocean. Be sure to watch for Dolphins and Pilot Whales who frequently pass by this coast.
After some fun time at the beach, we will drive back and end the tour in the early afternoon. This gives you plenty of time to explore the Kennedy Space Center, Cocoa Beach, or other adventures in the area.

My wife and I had an AMAZING TIME.
We took the full tour - before and after sunset - and it was totally worth it.
Our guide, a dude called Wild. Jay, was really excellent! He was both knowledgeable, entertaining, encouraging, and reassuring. My wife and I are both over 60 years old, but he made us feel like totally competent kayakers, and we learned a lot as well as seeing wonders of G-d's creation that we'd never seen before. We would seriously consider doing this again. -

FAQ
Our tours rarely cancel due to weather. If it is raining the day of the tour, chances are, with Florida weather, it will clear up by the time your tour starts. Sometimes we will hold the tour by 30 minutes for the weather to clear. In the case of lightning, high winds, or some other reason that we cannot paddle, we will re-schedule all guests to the very next tour available, or at a convenient time for you. Rainchecks are valid for 1 year.
Because of wildlife and environmental protection we have a limited number of bicycles we can use at one time. There will be 4-6 people on your tour, plus your guide. Fat tire bikes are made to ride in sand and over rough terrain. They are perfect for your wildlife beach adventure.
This tour is better for older children. All of our bikes are 26 inches. We recommend children are 10+ and 55" tall to be able to ride the fat tire bikes.
BK Adventure's office is about 50 miles from Orlando, and just 15 minutes away from Kennedy Space Center. Guest will meet at our Titusville office and then be driven to the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge (about 10 miles away).
Because of the limited availability of our equipment, they tend to book up quickly. Please call us if there is a time/day you would like that is not available for online booking. We may be able to get you on.
